Shaggy’s Pensacola Beach is a laid-back waterfront bar and grill that offers a seafood-centric menu, frozen daiquiris, an extensive craft beer list and more. The restaurant is positioned on the Navarre Beach fishing pier that spans 1,545 feet long and stands 30 feet above the water, perfect for securing a sunset view.

The more upscale establishment offers a beautiful, panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. Their dishes are meticulously prepared with mostly locally-sourced ingredients that pay homage to the best of what Pensacola Beach has to offer, with healthy alternatives to fresh land and sea plating. If that is what you are looking for in a happy hour, this is your place. If you want an Island drink and some potatoes or veggies to go with your shrimp, then move on down the path to Alonzos. The coconut shrimp is the perfect blend of crunchy, crispy and, of course, not greasy.

The view isn't the only thing to take in, the outside dining area out back has cornhole and kids games. Where can you find live music, amazing views and games? During happy hour, well drinks, wine and beer are half off. None of the speciality drinks are included in the happy hour pricing. This works well if you are drinking beer, but if you want something a little lighter, then be prepared to pay full price.

The menu highlights fresh, local ingredients, from the fresh Gulf fresh to the fruit juices in the cocktails. Crabs on the Beach is another waterfront restaurant parked right on Casino Beach. You can catch a breathtaking view of the sunrise from its open-air, Gulf-side deck or on the upstairs patio. Red Fish Blue Fish overlooks the Santa Rosa Sound and focuses on serving simple dishes that use fresh ingredients. The Perdido Key Oyster Bar Restaurant & Marina is located right on the intracoastal waterway in Perdido Key, making it a great spot for waterfront views and getting a look at Big Lagoon State Park. Calvert's in the Heights bills itself as a one-of-a-kind English-themed restaurant, and while it's not quite on the water, it sits on Scenic Highway and offers a unique, elevated view of the Pensacola Bay.

Our interior reflects the sophisticated sensibilities of the surrounding area while also paying tribute to Lake Geneva's storied past. With access from the water and ample parking, there is no better spot to grab a bite on Geneva Lake. This is where I think the happy hour at The Boathouse falls short.

The restaurant is probably Pensacola Beach’s fanciest restaurant but you don’t need to leave your flip-flops at home to enjoy the view. Nick's Boathouse is located right on Pensacola Bay, next to the Community Maritime Park and offers a casual atmosphere. It's a great place to catch the post-game fireworks at the Blue Wahoos Stadium.

You can choose a Dark & Stormy or even a gin and tonic and still have it half off, while at The Boathouse, your drink menu is limited. Also, there are really no sides to choose from on the happy hour menu at The Boathouse.

Bonsai is a sophisticated Japanese dining experience unique to Pensacola Beach. It’s located in the second floor of Hilton Pensacola Beach and offers a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico.
The serving sizes were what you would expect for a small plate. FSauteed mushrooms, onions & peppers, romaine lettuce, feta cheese, tzatziki cucumber salad, and tomatoes. The lobster tempura is some of the best on the island. If I were to say, they were good for a seafood place, I wouldn’t be accurate …. They were good for any restaurant, including a barbecue joint.
